– Fully electric, Volvo’s Polestar 2 is a fully evolved sedan designed for economy and performance beyond expectations.

The test validated the dynamic engineering effort, with the car hitting the corners. On public roads, the car was smooth and quiet, with insignificant wind or tire noise – especially impressive in a vehicle without an engine that masks these sounds.
The base version will be $ 45,000, after it launches Launch Edition at $ 63,000, and will still go from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.7 seconds. The car incorporates a water-cooled lithium-ion battery, developed with LG and capable of charging in just 35 minutes through a 150 kW charging station.
With its lightweight, eye-catching design inside and out, it complements with an industry highlight as the first car to feature Google’s Android-based information and entertainment system.
Using Google wirelessly, all vehicle systems and connectivity features – navigation, search, contacts – are accessed.
Polestar 2 is the brand’s first mass-produced EV, as well as Volvo’s – although the car’s powertrain is also heading for the recently announced XC40 Recharge SUV.
