 – Spanish Startup, will present new solutions to contribute to European sustainability in the V Edition of ‘Innpulso Emprende’

Minapim by Hernan Valenzuela: Estoko Logistics, an innovation startup in logistics warehousing, will participate on November 15 in the V Edition of Innpulso Emprende to present an innovative model for the use of the circular economy that reduces the emissions of Green House Gas Ghg, in the logistic warehousing.

The event will be held in Barcelona and will be attended by mayors from all over Spain who support innovative SMEs in their cities belonging to the Innpulso Network, promoted by the Ministry of Science and Innovation of the Government of Spain.

The theme of this edition will approach the Climate Neutral Cities Mission, promoted by the European Commission. Each city will present innovative projects that react to this challenge and are agents for change through initiatives that promote energy efficiency, renewable energies, sustainable mobility, the circular economy and the bioeconomy, among others.

Estoko Logistics is one of the innovative Startups that will represent the municipality of Viladecans (Baix Llobregat) with a project that is committed to transforming and working on new solutions for European sustainability. The key areas that Estoko Logistics will address and encourage at the meeting are the following:

  • Efficient mobility: Estoko reduces the distance in the transport of goods to their final destination.
  • Energy efficiency: reduces CO2 emissions due to the reduction of kilometres in the movement of goods.
  • Circular economy: Estoko reuses existing warehouse space, minimizing resources.
  • Gigabit Society: Optimizes the carbon footprint by making an intelligent management of the transport of goods, using a Cloud platform and digital tools that simplify and automate the documentation and traceability of operations in a more efficient way.

This edition will take place in parallel with the Smart City Expo World Congress 2021, the benchmark event in the field of smart cities to be held in Barcelona from November 16 to 18.

Red Innpulso

The Innpulso Network is a project subsidized by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. It is made up of 63 municipalities, considered as Cities of Science and Innovation, and they are a meeting forum for all those municipalities that intend to advance in the definition and application of innovative local policies.

The objective of the Spanish government is to promote and promote collaborative projects between municipalities that are integrated into the Network, promote international participation in innovation activities for participating municipalities, promote investment by dedicating 3% of the municipality’s investments in innovative public procurement and favours the participation of the municipalities of the Network in projects of the European Union.
